Rosa Tang, MD, MPH, MBA, is Adjunct Professor of the Department of Clinical Sciences at University of Houston, College of Medicine. Currently she is the CoMedical Director of Eye Wellness Center; Neuroophthalmology of Texas and Neuro Eye Clinical Trials Inc, where she was the PI of Phase 2 Teprotumumab study for Thyroid Eye Disease Her research agenda also includes investigations on Pseudotumor Cerebri, Multiple Sclerosis and Traumatic Brain Injury She holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health, specializing in Health Promotion and Prevention and an MBA from the University of Texas in Brownsville Dr. Tang in collaboration with Dr. Laura Frishman PhD and Dr. Jade Schiffman MD, FAAO, FAAN were involved in MS Eye Care (the Multiple Sclerosis Eye Center for Analysis, Research and Education) until August 31st, 2019. Also, in association with Dr. Han Cheng, OD, Ph.D., Dr. Tang was involved in research on Optic Nerve Edema in collaboration with NASA research. She has been the Grant Reviewer of NEI-VSN-NEI for many years (2001, 2002, 2004 and 2007) in Bethesda, Maryland; and participated on VISC Study Section NIH, Division of Research Grants. She was a research professor of the School of Optometry for more than 20 years until August 31st, 2019 Dr Tang is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained Neuro-ophthalmologist for over 30 years. Her internship was at the University of TexasMedical branch, followed by a 1 year of Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Miami, Flo. She earned her BA in the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She completed her Ophthalmology Residency at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and earned her fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
